For our Head office in Sofia, we are looking for а persistent and highly organized person for the position:


Manager Promotional Activities

In this exciting position you will work hand-in-hand with all departments in the company and alongside with the management of BILLA Bulgaria. You will propose improvements in the company's promotional strategy by referring to external and internal (market) data and analysis. You will coordinate and control promotional activities in accordance with the company's strategy and marketing plan


YOUR TASKS AND AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:
• Ensure an optimal process of planning and implementation of promotional activities;
• Analysis and preparation of data necessary for the Management of promotional activities
• Maintain accurate and complete system information about planned promotions;
• Ensure timely results from current and past promotional activities;
• Participate in the preparation and optimization of the company's annual promotional plan;
• Provide a methodology and system for planning promotional activities with the aim of clear and trouble-free execution;
• Ensure the implementation of the marketing plan;
• Provide specific goals and rules for planning promotional activities;
• Organize meetings to discuss planned promotional items;
• Make forecasts regarding the implementation of the budget as well as propose measures to achieve it through promotional activities.


WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
• Someone with higher education and 3-5 years of professional experience in the retail sector or completed higher education with business orientation and 1-5 years of professional experience in the retail sector
• Person with a collaborative approach, able to engage others on a vision and gain buy in to achieve results;
• Excellent problem solving skills, combined with ability to adapt and respond quickly to changing business priorities;
• Excellent analytical skills when dealing with evaluations or reports (fluency in Excel);
• Fluent written and spoken business English, German is advantage.


IT WILL BE GREAT IF YOU:
• Have interest and knowledge in the Retail/FMCG industry;
• Knowledge of products in the field of fast moving consumer goods;
• Have awareness of the retail market, and keeping up to date with best practices.
